Our Design Specialist Rich Johnsen visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the waterproofing work. It was determined that a new, full protection waterproofing system was needed to protect the home after heavy rains.

DBS Foreman Taylor Allen and crew worked on the interior waterproofing job. The crew began by breaking out concrete to create a trench around the home's footing. Our WaterGuard® drain system was put into place and will effectively capture wall and floor seepage, directing it to a new SingleSafe™ sump pump. The crew finished the job by burying the discharge line in the lawn away from the home.

DBS Design Specialist James Miller visited the home and performed a thorough diagnosis, assessing the basement wall cracking. His action plan for the block walls in the basement was to install our PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System.

DBS Foreman Nick Burley and crew first excavated the exterior of the shifting wall in order to perform a wall straightening procedure. From there, they installed 5 PowerBrace™ I-beams. Our team anchored the beams to the basement concrete, as well as to the rim joists in the ceiling. These beams will be tightened overtime to restore the wall's original position.

He discovered some shifting and cracking in a concrete slab near the home's foundation, which he determined was one source of the leaking basement. First, our Concrete Repair Foreman Dustin Behning remedied the sunken concrete issue with PolyLevel®, and sealed the cracks with NexusPro™.

This homeowner in Duluth, MN had been experiencing uncomfortable conditions in their home for years. An unsealed crawl space beneath the home was pooling with water, causing humid air to enter the home in the summer months and cold air during winter months.

One of our DBS Design Specialist visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate for a total crawl space encapsulation. After the inspection, our CleanSpace® vapor barrier as well as a sump pump was recommended in the space.

Our production crew first removed debris and prepped the space by excavated a layer of soil in the crawl space before installing our encapsulation system. This consisted of drainage matting, CleanSpace® vapor barrier, and a SmartSump™ sump pump. This crawl space drainage system is specially designed for crawl spaces. It has a lower profile than other pump packages, making installation in tight quarters easier.
