DBS was called out to this Duluth, MN to address rising heat bills and concerns of heat loss. Design Specialist, Steve Stern, inspected the home and proposed a couple of options to help fix the home's energy loss. Among a few other areas, the attic scuttle needed to be properly insulated. Significant heat loss occurs through an improperly insulated and sealed attic scuttle. Foreman, Drew Sundberg, and his crew installed the scuttle encapsulation insulation on this home.

Design Specialist, Steve Stern, visited this homeowner and provided him with a thorough inspection of his home. Upon inspection, Steve found a few areas where the home was losing heat. One of the main areas that needed to be addressed was the attic insulation, as it was old and lacking the proper depth to achieve the desired R-value. Steve proposed that DBS air-seal problem areas and fill the attic with some blown in insulation that met the proper R-value standards. 

A homeowner reached ot to DBS regarding a foundation settlement in their garage. The issue was properly addressed, and our crew went to the home and installed the Geolock® Wall Anchor Sytem. The anchors are designed to counteract the soil pressure pushing against the wall, and anchor it to undisturbed soil.

Watermarks were present throughout the area, and the leaks were causing damage to certains parts of the foundation and flooring. Fortunately, DBS was able to send out a crew to complete a multi-step waterproofing project on the basement, which consisted of installing CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier, a SaniDry™ Sedona Deumidifer, and a SuperPump® Premier Pump System. As a result, the homeowner can now enjoy a more clean and dry environment.
