A homeowner in Duluth, MN reached out to DBS with a concern about the stability of their deck posts. The wooden posts were not supported as well as possible, so the owner had DBS come out and inspect the area. It was determined that the deck posts would need to have helical piers installed to better strengthen the deck. These steel piers are capable of supporting massive loads, which make them ideal for deck stabilization. 

A homeowner in Duluth, MN was looking to stabilize their basement wall that lacked support and was prone to caving in. A Design Specialist from DBS was able to go out and provide a free, no-obligation estimate for the wall support service. A homeowner in Duluth, MN was experiencing issues with their concrete stairs leading to the backyard. The set of stairs had sunk a good amount, which created a tripping hazard for those occupying the area. In need of a solution, they reached out to DBS and had a crew come to install PolyLevel® and NexusPro™. PolyLevel® is used to lift and level concrete slabs, and NexusPro™ is a sealant for the cracks, as seen in the photo. The results turned out great, and the homeowner can now be more comfortable with a level stair surface.

A homeowner in Duluth, MN reached out to DBS looking for a solution to their sinking concrete walkway in the front of their house. The slabs were becoming uneven and this turned in to a general inconvenience for the owner. A Design Specialist from DBS went and visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the concrete service. It was determined that our crew would lift and level the concrete using PolyLevel® and then seal the joints and cracks with NexusPro™, as shown in the pictures below.

This Duluth basement was damp and moldy when the homeowners needed a solution to stop water and moisture from staying in their basement. They gave DBS a call to solve their problem.

Our Design Specialist, Henrik Makitalo, quickly came to evaluate the situation. He concluded that this basement would need a complete waterproofing plan using a new TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System in addition to permanent wall stabilization using Power Brace™ technology. Our Foreman arrived and the Power Brace™ beams were installed first along the perimeter of the basement to stabilize the caving walls. Then, a Triple Safe Sump Pump was installed to keep the basement dry.

These homeowners now enjoy a dry, safe and stable basement year-round.
