When a homeowner in Amery, WI noticed the north wall of their boat house starting to shift, they knew they had to act fast to prevent a whole rebuild. Worried about the stability of their structure, they reached out to us at DBS, hoping to find a permanent solution to not only reinforce the wall but also address the worrisome issue of water leakage through concrete cracks on top. After a free, no-obligation inspection was set up with our Appointment Center, one of our Design Specialists went to take a look. Our dedicated production team, led by Foreman Tate, then meticulously set about making the design a reality, strategically deploying the GeoLock© system alongside the shifting wall. The outcome became a stabilized wall and peace of mind for the homeowner that the wall would stand to last.

We chose our reliable GeoLock™ Wall Anchor System and PowerBrace™ system for its lasting solution. Notice in the after photo how drastically the foundation has been stabilized. The owner of this home in Mason, WI reached out to us looking for a better solution to their sunken front porch staircase. The homeowner used wooden stepstools as a DIY fix to the issue but they were an eyesore.
One of our Design Specialists went out to the home to record measurements and take photos of the problem areas. After a thorough no-obligation estimate appointment, the Design Specialist created a quote to go over with the customer.
One of our Concrete Repair teams, led by Foreman Dustin Behning, went out to the property to roll out the project. The crew injected PolyLevel® foam beneath the sunken staircase, cracked garage floor, and sidewalk to lift and level all of the areas.
Now that the tripping hazards have been eliminated, the homeowner can relax with peace of mind.
A homeowner from Lakeland, MN reached out to DBS looking for help with their cold floors and critter intrusion in their crawl space. One of our Design Specialists went to the home to run a free no-obligation estimate appointment. After a thorough inspection, our Design Specialist provided the homeowner with a free quote for our Crawl Space Encapsulation Service. One of our crews led by a Foreman first installed drainage matting, then TerraBlock® insulation panels, and finally a layer of CleanSpace® water vapor barrier to waterproof and insulate the space. To finish the job, our crew installed polyurethane spray foam along the walls to seal the space.
The yellow insulation in these rim joists looks effective, but it was letting air pass right through it. The new insulation helps create a better air seal on the home and has led to a noticeably more comfortable home.
