The owner of this home in Boyd, WI reached out to DBS looking for a permanent solution to their unstable basement foundation and walls.

One of our Design Specialists went out to the home to run a free no-obligation estimate appointment for the homeowner. After a thorough inspection, our Design Specialist quoted our PowerBrace® System.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed PowerBrace® i-beams along the walls of the basement. The system will prevent further bowing or new cracks from developing.
Now that the basement has been permanently stabilized, the homeowner can relax with peace of mind.

Insulating around objects that should not be moved is never an easy task, but the team at DBS Residential Solutions has gotten great at using spray foam insulation to properly insulate and air seal a home while working around various obstacles. Keeping these utilities warm is important not only for the longevity of the machines but for their efficiency as well. A water heater, for example, will lose much less energy in a warm room than it would in a room that in improperly insulated and cold. 

This foundation had deteriorated over time and was allowing water into the home through cracks in the walls and through the base of the foundation. The homeowner knew they needed a permanent solution fast or they would be facing much more expensive problems. With the help of our Specialist Henrik we proposed a solution that would secure the entire foundation permanently while waterproofing the most critically important sections at the same time. With the understanding and agreement of the homeowner we soon had our Foreman Casey installing a drian tile around the home with CleanSpace matting that allowed water to drain into the system which led to our our TripleSafe sump pump with a back-up pump and a second back-up pump which is battery powered. After the waterproofing system was in place Casey was able to add the PowerBraces to permanently secure the foundation and prevent further shifting from taking control of the basement walls. When completely this system gives the basement walls a much more clean and bright look and confidence is built in the basement walls when one sees the solid steal beams supporting every wall. 

The foundation walls in this Eveleth, MN home had bowed over time. The owner was getting ready to sell the house and knew he needed to get this fixed prior to a home inspection. He called DBS and Royce Bunn, design specialist, came out to provide the homeowner with an estimate to permanently fix the bowing wall.  The DBS installation crew was able to install 10 PowerBraces to permanently stabilize this home's foundation wall. 

This Eveleth, MN homeowner was in the process of remodeling his basement when he noticed some cracking in his foundation wall. He called DBS as he wanted an expert to come out and check out his foundation wall. System Design Specialist, Rich Johnsen made a visit to this home. Upon inspection, he found that the east foundation wall needed some additional support to stabilize the wall. He concluded that the best way to do this would be through the use of our PowerBrace system. The homeowner was relieved that there was a sure fix to this problem. The DBS installation crew headed by Forman Kevin Steffy was able to successfully install the PowerBrace System.
