Foreman Osia Williams completed this project along with his team, and they successfully installed 2 PowerBrace™ I-beams that will correct bowing and prevent further cracking over time. DBS consulted with the owner upon completion of the first project to come back a second time in order to install waterproofing materials.

Next, they use hydraulic pressure to move the pier down through the ground until it reached native, stable soil. DBS Installers took the lead on this project. Together, the team began by drilling small holes into the concrete and injecting the foam. This foam expands and hardens to lift the concrete back into an even position. The sealant is then used to fill the remaining crack and even out the floor.

This anchor is attached to a steel plate that is installed inside of the home. Once connected, the system can be adjusted to pull the cracked wall back into its original position. Foreman Nick Woods led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed a layer of drainage matting in the crawl space to help direct water flow underneath the materials. Then they installed TerraBlock® frost barrier panels and sealed the space in CleanSpace® water vapor barrier. They finished the project by spraying the vertical walls with our polyurethane spray foam insulation.

Now that the crawl space has been thoroughly waterproofed, the homeowner can relax with peace of mind.
