This was concerning for the owner, as it can cause damage to the home and foundation as well as raise health issues. 

A DBS Design Specialist visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the crawl space encapsulation service. It was determined that the crawl space would need to have CleanSpace® installed to act as a vapor barrier for the area. To permanently stabilize the walls, our PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System was installed along the perimeter of the basement, using 11 steel I-beams. These homeowners in Hermantown, MN reached out to DBS for help with insulating their crawl space. This crawl space was freezing during winter months which put pipes at risk of freezing. 

Design Specialist, Hunter Riley went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. SilverGlo™ insulation was recommended to insulate this crawl space with closed cell spray foam along the rim joists. Foreman Kevin Steffey and his production crew successfully installed the products. 

This crawl space is now properly insulated and will not freeze during our harsh Minnesota winters!

This homeowner in Two Harbors, MN had been experiencing uncomfortable conditions in their home for years. An unsealed crawl space beneath the home was pooling with water, causing humid air to enter the home in the summer months and cold air during winter months. 

DBS Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate for a total crawl space encapsulation. After the inspection, he recommended a CleanSpace® vapor barrier as well as sump pump in the space.

DBS Production Manager Kevin Steffey was the foreman on the job. He and his production crew excavated a layer of soil in the crawl space before installing our encapsulation system. This consisted of drainage matting, CleanSpace® vapor barrier, and a SmartSump™ sump pump. This crawl space drainage system is specially designed for crawl spaces. It has a lower profile than other pump packages, making installation in tight quarters easier.
