DBS Before & After Photos

Design Specialist, Henrik Makitalo visited with the resorts building manager to discuss possible solutions to their hallway ceilings in the resort. Henrik provided the building manager with a great option of using ceiling tiles from our basement finishing product line. Foreman, Drew Sundberg and his crew installed the tiles and everyone was pleased with the result. 

Our clients called DBS looking to install a drop ceiling in their home, so we sent our Design Specialist, Henrik Makitalo, to the home to create a proposal. Henrik recommended that the homeowners install a linen ceiling tiles into the home for a fresh new appearance. Homes often install drop ceilings for modern design aesthetic, environmental factors, acoustics, and more. DBS was happy to help the homeowners and install the drop ceiling! DBS received a call that a home was cold and the homeowners said it was from a wet, cold crawl space. The homeowners said that it was dirty and needed an upgrade, so DBS went to see what a solution was. We saw that the crawl space needed an updated sump pump, so we installed our SuperSump® Premier Pump System, and we also installed some insulation foaming, as well as a drainage mat to make sure the water coming inside, was going back outside. Our final touch was to add a mat on the ground to finish the crawl space, keep dirt away from all these products, and create a clean atmosphere.

In Two Harbors, MN, a homeowner reached out to DBS regarding their failing foundation wall. When old block walls start to wear down, they cancrack and bow, which may be damaging to the overall structure of the home. Luckily, a crew was able to go to the residence and install the CarbonArmor® Wall Reinforcing System for foundation support. This before and after set displays on of the block walls in need of stabilization, and the CarbonArmor® strips are optimal in doing so. The results turned out great, and the homeowner can now enjoy a more safe and comfortable environment. 

A homeowner in Two Harbors, MN was experiencing water leakage within the basement of their home. The only defense against this was an od sump pump installed in the pit, but it was not enough to hold back the unwanted water. After reaching out to DBS, a Design SPecialist went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the waterproofing improvement. It was decided that the basement would need anew sump pump, as wel as CleanSpace® and WaterGuard® installed to provide maximum efficiency. The results turned out great, and the homeowner can now be more comfortable with their improved basement system.
