In Two Harbors, MN, a new homeowner wanted their house to be warmer and more efficient for the upcoming winter. The attic contained old vermiculite insulation, which required testing and proper capping before improvements could be made. The space was under-insulated, leaving the home vulnerable to heat loss, drafts, and higher energy bills.
Our crew, Brant and Joe, followed the inspector’s recommendation and professionally capped off the vermiculite, installed ventilation baffles, sealed air leaks, and added blown-in cellulose insulation. Sold by Design Specialist Heidi, this solution improved the home’s comfort, safety, and energy efficiency—ensuring the customer will enjoy a warmer, healthier living environment all winter long.
In the initial photo, you can see the slab in Cloquet, MN has settled unevenly, raising concerns of separation. This can lead to issues with stability and safety. We utilized our PolyLevel system to lift and level the concrete by injecting high-strength polyurethane foam through small holes, restoring the complete surface. Additionally, NexusPro Joint Sealant was applied to seal all cracks, protecting the area from water intrusion which prevents further erosion and soil displacement. Our process ensures a long-lasting, stable solution for any homeowner worried about their concrete surfaces.
