Basement Finishing Before & After Photos

Homeowners in Cook, MN had grand plans to finish the basement of their family home. After seeing our advertisements on local television, they reached out to us for guidance. They first needed help encapsulating their home's crawl space. After DBS completed that work, the Total Basement Finishing™ process could begin. 

The homeowners worked with DBS Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo to come up with a design that met the family's needs. Our Total Basement Finishing™ Carpenters installed mahogany MillCreek Flooring™, and EverLast™ Basement Wall Panels throughout the space. They also installed new doors, electrical, and lighting. 

The homeowners were happy with the work done and can now have a beautifully finished basement to enjoy for years to come! 

Homeowners in Spring Lake Park, MN wanted to transform their partially-finished basement. Knowing that basements are prone to water leaks, they were interested in learning more about our moisture and mildew resistant basement finishing materials. After doing research online, they reached out to DBS for a free, no-obligation estimate for their basement project. 

Our Basement Finishing expert Jason Swanson was the Design Specialist for this project. He visited the home, consulted with the homeowners and created a custom plan for this basement finishing project, including a re-design of the bedroom spaces, as well as a customer wet bar. 

The DBS team of expert carpenters began this project by removing some of the existing drywall and carpeting. From there, they installed our water resistant products, as well as completed base electrical; installing outlets, switches, jacks, lighting, and other finishes. The homeowners chose MillCreek Flooring™, a scratch resistant and moisture-proof flooring, in our mahogany color.

These homeowners were happy with our work and now have more space to dedicate to their active family!

DBS Design Specialist, Rich Johnsen went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. After inspecting the home, Rich recommended installing our WaterGuard® drainage system and ZenWall® paneling. This combination will keep this basement dry all year round! This home was repaired by DBS Foreman Zach Royer and his production crew.

This home is now healthy, safe, and comfortable!

These Pelican Rapids, MN homeowners wanted to make better use of their 900 square-ft. basement. They recently had a waterproofing system installed and were ready to take the final step in finishing their basement space. 

DBS Total Basement Finishing Design Specialist Denny Meintz visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the basement finishing project, keeping in mind the family's vision for the space.  It was determined that ZenWall™ Paneling would be installed along the perimeter in the basement, along with a finished linen ceiling, and recessed lighting. DBS Carpenter Jason Petrella and crew successfully performed some demolition, built-out an additional wall and room divider, successfully completing all finishes necessary. 

This family now has a beautiful, custom addition to their home to enjoy!

These Saint Paul, MN homeowners wanted to make better use of their basement. Living in an older house in Saint Paul, they were interested in our system because of its added insulation and water-resistant qualities. 

DBS Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the basement finishing project, keeping in mind the family's vision for the space. It was determined that EverLast™ Basement Wall Panels would be installed along the perimeter in the basement, along with MillCreek Flooring™, and recessed lighting.

A DBS Carpenter and crew successfully performed some demolition, as well as finished the stairway, and ceiling. They then installed the products mentioned above, completing base electrical, and installing outlets, switches, and jacks.
