This foundation had deteriorated over time and was allowing water into the home through cracks in the walls and through the base of the foundation. The homeowner knew they needed a permanent solution fast or they would be facing much more expensive problems. With the help of our Specialist Henrik we proposed a solution that would secure the entire foundation permanently while waterproofing the most critically important sections at the same time. With the understanding and agreement of the homeowner we soon had our Foreman Casey installing a drian tile around the home with CleanSpace matting that allowed water to drain into the system which led to our our TripleSafe sump pump with a back-up pump and a second back-up pump which is battery powered. After the waterproofing system was in place Casey was able to add the PowerBraces to permanently secure the foundation and prevent further shifting from taking control of the basement walls. When completely this system gives the basement walls a much more clean and bright look and confidence is built in the basement walls when one sees the solid steal beams supporting every wall. 

This customer chose to create a clean space under their home using our 20 mil CleanSpace encapsulation system which is a heavy durable liner. In combination with the 12 mil waterproofing this liner helps transform the nasty dirt area into a clean usable storage space that also helps remove musty smells from the home. 

These pictures show a great crawlspace transformation. Changes in this picture include a radiant barrier, spray foam insulation around the floor joists, and clean space system with drainage matting. This area is now much more dry and comfortable.

A homeowner in Hayward, WI was experiencing issues with leaking water in the newly finished basement of their cabin, and reached out to DBS for some assistance.
