These customers wanted to create a more family space in their basement where they could sit and enjoy each others company and have enough room for their hobbies as well. They called DBS because they wanted the job done right with high quality materials that would resist the effects of basement moisture. DBS transformed the customer's dark storage space into a large, bright, beautiful area with wall and flooring materials that would not need to be replaced in the event of flooding or humidity. 

These homeowners wanted to finish their basement space but also had to deal with an ugly 4 x 4 beam supporting the floor above. Our finishing system was able to seamlessly incorporate this beam into the room with a bright and elegant covering. These customers were very pleased with the end result. 

DBS received a call that a home in Mora, MN needed maintenance. The house required two of our services, wall stabilization, and basement waterproofing to keep it warm and dry. We installed the PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System for support, then began the basement waterproofing services. We started by using our Super Sump® Premier Pump System to make sure the water was sufficiently being managed in the home. Then, we use our interior waterproofing around the entire perimeter of the basement to make sure the whole area remains dry. The photos show our before production and during the production process to install the system, you will also notice the beams on the walls for support in the production process photo.

The owner of this cabin in Palisade, MN wanted to stop worrying about pipes freezing underneath in the wintertime when they are not there. Looking for a solution, they reached out to DBS.

A DBS Designs Specialist went out to the cabin to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After the inspection, they generated a free quote for the cabin owner for SilverGlo™ insulation panels.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with help from a crew. Together they installed the SilverGlo™ panels on the vertical walls of the crawl space and air sealed the area with ZypFoam™. The panels are made of graphite-infused rigid foam insulation that will prevent frost from reaching the foundation footings.

Now that the crawl space has been properly stabilized, the cabin owner can have peace of mind without having to worry about their piped freezing in the winter.
