Foreman George Barry led the installation of this project. The project began with jackhammering that created trenches around the perimeter of the flooding walls. The drain lines are then placed within and catch the water from the walls and floor joists. These drains run to a sump pump where the water is expelled from the home. The drain lines are then covered with new concrete, that will create a flush look once completely dry.

Our Design Specialist Jason Brummer visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the waterproofing work. In this case, he determined that the inside of the basement had a sufficent system, and instead he drafted a plan for an exterior drainage solution.

DBS Foreman Zach Jorenby and crew worked on the exterior waterproofing job. The crew began by connecting a discharge line to the home's existing sump pump. The also connected to drain pipes on the other side of the home. This will ensure that water is directed away from the home's foundation. They buried the discharge line, as well as used our LawnScape™ outlet for a subtle final look. This heavy duty outlet cover can be removed for cleaning, and prevents clogging of the discharge line.
