Design Specialist Rich Johnsen visited the home to conduct a free, no-obligation estimate. After a careful inspection, Rich provided a quote and recommended the installation of a WaterGuard® Drain System. This French drain system collects water from the floor joists and walls before it has a chance to enter the home.
A DBS Foreman led the installation of the project with help from a team. Together, the team removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and placed the French drain pipes under the floor. Once the drain is installed, concrete is poured back over the installation to create a flush look. The drain leads to a sump pump that will discharge the water out of the home and away from the foundation.
These homeowners will no longer have to worry about mopping their basement and can now relax in their healthy home.
In Brule, WI, we faced a basement that urged a transformative touch before the homeowner could proceed with selling the home. As seen in the before photo, the initial step involved delicately chipping up the concrete to address water seepage. Enlisting our TripleSafe Sump Pump, visible in the aftershot, we fashioned a robust solution. We meticulously assembled the pumps, nestling them into a precisely constructed basin, then enveloped them in solid concrete and seamlessly integrated into the existing discharge line.
