A DBS Design Specialist visited the home, assessed the problem, and created a solution for the unwanted water and failing walls. WaterGuard® and our SuperSump® Sump Pump were recommended to make sure the basement stays dry all year long. To permanently stabilize the walls, our PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System was installed along the perimeter of the basement, using 11 steel I-beams. Foreman Kevin Steffey and his crew successfully installed the products.

Design Specialist Rich Johnsen went out to the home to run a free no-obligation estimate appointment for the homeowner. After taking several measurements, Rich created a quote for our WaterGuard® and sump pump waterproofing systems.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed the WaterGuard® french drain system around the interior perimeter of the basement and covered the drains with concrete for a smooth finish (the concrete is wet at the time the after the photo was taken for this project). They also installed a new sump pump with a backup battery in case the power goes out during a rainstorm. The sump pump paired with the WaterGuard® system will ensure that the basement stays drier.
