Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

A homeowner on Park Point in Duluth, MN had been experiencing leaking in the basement for several years. In order to make this space more functional, the homeowners reached out to DBS in hopes of a permanent solution.

Design Specialist Henrik Makiktalo went to inspect the area and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for our waterproofing service. Henrik noticed lots of Iron Ochre Water build-up in the basement, common in homes on Park Point. Iron Ochre is a living organism with bacteria build-up that can damage drain systems, leading to corrosion and clogging.

It was determined that the basement would have a WaterGuard® System installed, specifically designed to process water with Iron Ochre present. The Foreman Kevin Steffey and crew also installed a TripleSafe® Sump Pump System for maximum efficiency and protection against future wetness.

Foreman Kevin Steffey and his production team installed our WaterGuard® System along the perimeter of the basement flooring, CleanSpace® Wall Poly was then installed on the walls and everything now flows to a TripleSafe™ Sump Pump to keep water out of the basement for good.

DBS Foreman Kevin Steffey and crew excavated soil around the base of the home and added a Sentry Seal membrane to seal off any cracks in the foundation from the outside. The crew also installed SilverGlo™ insulation to further protect the home's foundation.
