After inspecting the property, Rich discovered that the feedline was not properly installed when a different contractor finished the basement space. The concrete was bubbling and letting moisture seep into the basement floor when DBS arrived. The solution was to reinstall the feedline and connect it with a buried exterior discharge line and an IceGuard® attachment to prevent freezing during the winter months. This home was repaired by DBS Foreman Tyler Nacey and his production crew.

Design Specialist Rich Johnsen assisted these homeowners in a free no-obligation estimate in order to find the right solution for their homes. After a carefully conducted inspection, Rich recommended a WaterGuard® Drain System.

Foreman Tyler Nacey led a team in the installation of this project. Together, the team removed concrete from the basement and placed drainage pipes that connect to a sump pump. This WaterGuard® drain collects water through the walls and at the floor joists in order to catch any intrusion before it enters your basement. The water is then transported to a sump pump and discarded from the home. After installing the drain system, the concrete is replaced in a smooth and flush manner. 

With their new DBS solution, these homeowners can relax knowing they have a dry, safe basement.
