Concrete Lifting and Leveling Before & After Photos

A cabin owner in Side Lake, MN wanted to repair the floor in their boathouse. Shifting soils and washouts have caused the lakeside concrete slab to settle over time. DBS Concrete Repair Foreman Evan Lafontaine led a crew that completed this cabin boathouse project. They began by drilling pea-sized holes into the target areas of the concrete. From there, they used a pressurized hose to inject our 2-part solution called PolyLevel® beneath the slab. This expanding foam's lightweight formula is designed to lift concrete without adding extra weight to the soil beneath and causing more settling. The foam hardens and it cures to provide a durable, sustainable fix that won't wash away over time. The cracks were filled with NexusPro®, a flexible silicone solution.

This cabin owner was happy with the work done and is relieved to have a stable and level slab once again.
