Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This recently purchased cabin in Tofte, MN was built in the 1920s and in need of structural repair. The owner was hoping to use this space as a vacation home and potential rental down the line. DBS Design Specialist James Miller visited the cabin and gave a thorough inspection of the crawl space. He designed a plan with the homeowner to restore the cabin to a level position. DBS Foreman Nick Burley and his foundation repair crew had the task of installing a crawl space support system and lifting the cabin back to level. 

The DBS repair crew installed a supplemental beam steel beam to ensure the cabin is properly supported for years to come. Beneath the existing supports and new steel I-beam, we placed 7 SmartJacks. These telescoping support beams have steel footings and can be hand adjusted to support natural settling due to soil movement throughout the years.
