Old Wooden Beam Replaced with Steel I-beam with SmartJack® Supports to Fix Foundation Issues in Ashland, WI

The main beams in this crawl space in Ashland, WI were being improperly supported by the cement blocks underneath. Over time, the supports sunk into the soil as moisture levels fluctuated. Looking for a solution, the homeowner reached out to DBS.

A DBS Design Specialist went to the property to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the owner. After a thorough inspection, they educated the homeowners on what causes foundations to settle and sink into the soil and provided them with a solution to their problem called the SmartJack® System.

Foreman Tyler Nacey led the installation of this project with help from a crew. Together they replaced the old wooden beam with a sturdy steel I-beam. They also installed 3 SmartJack® supports to complete the foundation stabilization.
