Shown here is the PowerBrace™ Wall Bracing System, which is used for the foundation wall support. Earth anchors are installed outside of the home, below the ground, and the steel plates are installed inside the home on the bowing wall. These systems are connected using a steel rod which stops any further movement and can also be adjusted in order to restore the wall back to its original position.

Foreman Fred Bozvay led the installation of this project with help from a partner. Together, the duo used these jack systems to evenly support and distribute the weight of the structure. Once stabilized, the jacks can be adjusted to lift the floor above back to their original, level position.
