Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

The owner of this 1900s Duluth, MN home noticed large horizontal cracks formed in their basement walls and were causing them to bow inward. They also mentioned that every time the train up the road passed by, the house would shake. Looking for a permanent solution in case they were to sell the home in the future, they reached out to DBS.

Design Specialist James Miller went to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After a thorough inspection, James told the homeowners about a DBS solution called GeoLock™ Wall Anchor System.

Foreman Trevor Ingle led the installation of this project. With help from a crew, they installed 5 GeoLock™ Wall Anchors to support the basement walls. The GeoLock™ Wall Anchors can be tightened during dry periods in an attempt to straighten the wall back to its original position. Each anchor is backed with a 25-year transferrable warranty in case the homeowner sells in the future.

Now that the home has been permanently stabilized the owner will be able to relax more comfortably knowing that their home is safe.

These systems are connected using a steel rod which stops any further movement and can also be adjusted in order to restore the wall back to its original position.
