Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

Design Specialist Rich Johnsen went to the property to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowners. After a thorough inspection, Rich generated a quote for our PowerBrace® Wall Bracing System.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed 5 PowerBrace® i-beams along the basement walls in order to permanently stabilize them. Each i-beam is fixed to the rim joists of the home and bolted to the concrete slab floor. This ensures that the i-beams will stay fixed and provide stabilization to the walls and the brackets at the rim joists can be tightened over dry periods in an attempt to straighten the wall back to its original position.

Now that the foundation has been permanently stabilized, the homeowners can relax with peace of mind not having to worry about the structural integrity of their home.

They needed an efficient upgrade to the overall basement area, and there were several products needing to be installed. For the waterproofing portion, WaterGuard® was ran along the perimeter of the concrete floor. As for wall support, the crew installed CarbonArmor® to add stabilization along the foundation. The installation was a success, and the homeowner can now enjoy a more efficient basement system.

Foreman Greg Owens led the crew in the installation of this project. The SmartJack® System is made up of a large steel tube that is connected to steel brackets. This system is extremely sturdy and evenly distributes the weight of the structure. This system can also be adjusted in order to level out the supported area to its original position.
