After scheduling the best time with the customer, one of our foremen led the installation of this project with help from a team. The crew began prepping by removing old insulation and built an area for the new insulation to be installed, alongside a safe area to store the homeowners items. Then they began the insulation process to help create a lasting and effective solution. Now this homeowner can relax in their healthy home!

A homeowner in Minneapolis, MN was experiencing insulation issues with their home, and reached out to DBS for help. After a thorough inspection from our Design Specialist, it was determined that the basement walls would need to be completely covered with spray foam insulation in order to properly assist in insulating the home. Our well trained Dr. Energy Saver® Design Specialist, Henrik Makitalo went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. Henrik measured where heat was escaping and recommended using closed cell spray foam to insulate this basement due to its rough and porous walls. DBS Foreman Kevin Steffey and his production crew worked hard to install the insulation.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with help from a crew. Together they lined the basement walls with our closed-cell polyurethane spray foam insulation. This type of insulation insulates and air-seals in one step, and the basement is properly insulated.

Homeowners in Minneapolis, MN wanted to increase their overall comfort and save energy. They knew their attic insulation wasn't efficient and called DBS to provide a free, no-obligation estimate. 

DBS Design Specialist Henry Jungbauer visited the home and provided an estimate for the attic re-insulation project. He designed a custom plan that involved removing the existing insulation, air sealing the attic, and adding new cellulose insulation. 

DBS Foreman Nick Woods II led the install of this attic insulation project. After removing the insulation, the crew applied closed-cell spray foam to the attic deck, sealing gaps, cracks, and holes. From there, they installed TruSoft cellulose. This lightweight, yet dense insulation is made from recycled newspapers and coated with a non-toxic formula that is resistant to pests and fire. 

After a successful attic insulation like this one, the homeowners should expect increased comfort and reduced energy bills.
