These cabin owners reached out to DBS when their boathouse began to sink into their lake! 

Design Specialist, Royce Bunn went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. Our SmartJack® System was used to permanently stabilize and lift the foundation of the boathouse. This system works by driving piers deep into the earth until bedrock is hit, which offers permanent stabilization. 

Foreman, Kevin Steffey, and his production crew installed the support systems and these homeowners can now enjoy their boathouse for years to come without fear of it sinking or becoming unstable! 

This cabin owner reached out to DBS after having consistent problems with their boat house which was built right off the water. The foundation was unstable and was causing a safety concern. When our Design Specialist went out to the property, he recommended installing new piers to help lift and stabilize the boat house.

When our crew went out to the property, they were able to install new piers and the cabin owner was happy with the new piers!

The owner of this cabin in Sturgeon Lake, MN was experiencing issues with moisture in their crawl space. This can cause unsafe living conditions because it promotes mold grows and negatively affects the air in the home. The cabin owner reached out to DBS after seeing an ad for DBS on a local television station.

Design Specialist Austin Burley went to the cabin to conduct a free no-obligation estimate and after a thorough inspection, he educated the owners on Crawl Space Encapsulation services offered by DBS. 

Foreman Tyler Nacey led the installation of this project with help from a crew. Together they first installed dimpled drainage matting to help water flow underneath the encapsulation products. Next, they covered the matting with panels of TerraBlock™ crawl space encapsulation to prevent frost build-up. Then they sealed the crawl space by installing a CleanSpace® water vapor barrier.

Now that the crawl space has been properly encapsulated, the air will be safer to breathe, and the cabin will remain in the family for years to come.

This Sturgeon Lake, MN homeowner wanted to make their garage structurally stable again and stop water from leaking into their basement. A DBS Design Specialist went to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After a thorough inspection, the Design Specialist generated a quote for our helical piering system.

Foreman Tyler Nacey led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed 2 helical piers underneath the supporting posts of the overhang to provide permanent stabilization to it. 

Now that the overhang has been stabilized, the homeowner can relax without worry on their front porch.
