DBS Before & After Photos

Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo went to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After a thorough inspection, Henrik generated a quote for our waterproofing system.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed a WaterGuard® french drain system around the perimeter of the basement to assist the flow of water into a new sump pump. The sump pump will keep the basement dry by expelling the water up and away from the home's foundation.

Now that the basement has been properly waterproofed, the homeowner can go about adding another bedroom in the basement.

Foreman Nicholas Woods II led the installation of this project with help from a team.  First, the team exposed any cracks or holes in the home that were allowing unwanted airflow in and out of the house. Then the team air seals these areas to begin the insulation process. Finally, they apply a full-coverage layer of SprayFoam to fully insulate the space and create a moisture barrier.

A homeowner in Jacobson, MN reached out to DBS regarding a badly sunken concrete garage floor. Over time, their garage apron had started to settle and actually sunk about three inches from its original position. DBS sent in a crew to provide our PolyLevel® service in order to lift and level the concrete. The results were fantastic, as shown by these before and after photos!

DBS went to the home to take a look at the problem and it was obvious that the concrete had been sinking inches, leaving a large gap between the walls and the ground. We sent our Design Specialist, Rich Johnsen, to the home to see how we could help. Rich proposed we use our PolyLevel® service to lift the uneven concrete and bring the gap between the walls and the ground, together.
