The owner of this 1907 home in Mercer, WI reached out to us looking for an insulation solution for their crawl space. They also wanted a way to keep rodents out from underneath their home as well.
Design Specialist Henry Jungbauer went out to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate appointment for the homeowner. After taking several measurements and photos, Henry created a quote for our Crawl Space Encapsulation service.
A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed drainage matting along the ground to help the flow of water, then they installed TerraBlock® foam frost barrier panels and a layer of CleanSpace® water vapor barrier to complete the 3-layer process. The crew also sprayed polyurethane insulation along the vertical walls in the crawl space to air-seal the space.
Now that the crawl space has been thoroughly insulated, the homeowner can relax with peace of mind.

This Schroeder, MN homeowner was struggling with foundation instability. The house had settled so much that the doors and windows no longer worked properly. The homeowner wanted to fix this problem before it got any worse and to be able to keep the home in good condition for their family.
Design Specialist Zach Guilliams assisted this homeowner in a free no-obligation estimate to find the perfect solution for their home. It was decided that installing push piers was the best option.
Foreman Trevor Ingle, along with a team, led this installation. Together, they installed 8 push piers systems. These piers are made out of steel that is strong enough to lift the foundation. Using hydraulic pressure, these push piers are set deep into the native soil of the land and can raise the settled foundation back to its original position. They are a lasting, permanent solution for foundation settlement.
This homeowner can now enjoy their home for years to come without having to worry about their home moving any further.
This pool deck at the resort in Tofte, MN was cracked and sinking. The owners were looking for a solution to repair the concrete without having to replace it. They were also looking for a quick solution to avoid a long-term closure of the pool to guests.
The reached out to DBS about our Concrete Repair service and a Design Specialist visited the resort to provide a free, no-obligation estimate. To lift and level the concrete, PolyLevel® was recommended. A DBS Foreman and production crew successfully leveled portions of sidewalk using PolyLevel® and sealed the cracks using NexusPro™.
The resort guests now have a safe, and stable pool deck that will last for years to come.
This recently purchased cabin in Tofte, MN was built in the 1920s and in need of structural repair. The owner was hoping to use this space as a vacation home and potential rental down the line. They wanted to make sure that the cabin had a healthy foundation and crawl space so they reached out to DBS for a free, no-obligation estimate for the work.
DBS Design Specialist James Miller visited the cabin and gave a thorough inspection of the crawl space. He designed a plan with the homeowner to restore the cabin to a level position. DBS Foreman Nick Burley and his foundation repair crew had the task of installing a crawl space support system and lifting the cabin back to level.
The DBS repair crew installed a supplemental beam steel beam to ensure the cabin is properly supported for years to come. Beneath the existing supports and new steel I-beam, we placed 7 SmartJacks. These telescoping support beams have steel footings and can be hand adjusted to support natural settling due to soil movement throughout the years.
