Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

New homeowners of a 1960's Duluth home noticed water pooling in their basement. In search of a solution, they were referred to us by another local company and contacted us in search of a permanent solution.

DBS Design Specialist Rich Johnsen visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for our waterproofing services. DBS Foreman Kevin Steffey and crew then installed a WaterGuard® system and poured a new concrete floor over a layer of aggregate material and dimple matting to assist in the proper flow of any moisture to the new drain system. The homeowners also had a TripleSafe™ Sump Pump installed as well as a SaniDry™ dehumidifier for ultra protection against moisture. 

A homeowner on Park Point in Duluth, MN had been experiencing leaking in the basement for several years. In order to make this space more functional, the homeowners reached out to DBS in hopes of a permanent solution.

Design Specialist Henrik Makiktalo went to inspect the area and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for our waterproofing service. Henrik noticed lots of Iron Ochre Water build-up in the basement, common in homes on Park Point. Iron Ochre is a living organism with bacteria build-up that can damage drain systems, leading to corrosion and clogging.

It was determined that the basement would have a WaterGuard® System installed, specifically designed to process water with Iron Ochre present. The Foreman Kevin Steffey and crew also installed a TripleSafe® Sump Pump System for maximum efficiency and protection against future wetness.
