Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

After seeing our advertisement in the newspaper, homeowners in Superior, WI reached out to DBS when water was leaking through the foundation of their home and into their basement.

DBS Sales Manager Royce Bunn visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for our waterproofing service. It was determined that a partial waterproofing system would be installed, paired with foundation support. A DBS Foreman and crew excavated soil around the base of the home and added a Sentry Seal membrane to seal off any cracks in the foundation from the outside. The crew also installed SilverGlo™ insulation to further protect the home's foundation.

Inside the home, a CarbonArmor® Wall Reinforcing System was used to stop the wall from any further movement. Additionally, a high-performing SuperSump® Premier Pump System was installed to pump water up and out of the home. 

The homeowners were happy with the work done and no longer have water issues in the basement!

This homeowner was due for an annual maintenance appointment for their WaterGuard® system.

Jacob, DBS's Service Manager, performed the annual inspection and maintenance, starting with flushing out the WaterGuard® system. Since the home was actively being remodeled, debris was flushed out of the system. After the system was flushed out, the WaterGuard® was operating like new. The homeowner was also concerned about some effervescence coming through the slab, and Jacob inspected the area.

As part of our DBS Care Club, an annual maintenance appointment also includes cleaning the sump pump and basin. Once these tasks were completed, the TripleSafe™ sump pump was running like new as well!

Foreman Greg Owens led the installation of this project with help from a crew. Together, the crew installed our WaterGuard® french drains around the basement and also installed CleanSpace® water vapor barrier to thoroughly waterproof the space. This system keeps the space dry and effectively leads the water intrusion to the sump pump to be removed from the home.

Finally, the drain lines are covered with concrete for a flush finish.
