Design Specialist Casey Healy provided a free, no-obligation estimate for our Waterproofing System. A DBS Foreman and their production team installed our WaterGuard® System along the perimeter of the basement and an UltraSump® Pump to keep water out of the basement for good.
The installation team also installed 22 WallDefense® straps to support bowing and cracking basement walls.
This Duluth, MN homeowner was tired of issues caused by water intrustion in the basement. After periods of rainy and wet weather, the basement had to be routintely mopped up. Looking for a permanent solution, the homeowner called DBS.

It was determined that a new drainage system was needed to protect the home after heavy rains. Because the home's existing sump pump was in good working order, the new drain infrastructure would connect to the current sump pump.
DBS Foreman Zach Jorenby and crew worked on the interior waterproofing job. The crew began by breaking out concrete to create a trench around the home's footing. Our WaterGuard® drain system was put into place and will effectively capture wall and floor seepage, directing it to a the basement sump pump. The crew finished the job by burying the discharge line in the lawn away from the home.

Foreman Dustin Behning led the team in the installation of this project. Together, the team removed the flooring around the perimeter of the basement. After doing so, they installed the drains that connected to a sump pump. These drains collect water seepage from the walls and floor joists and transport the water to the sump pump to be discarded outside of the house. After the installation, the floor is covered with concrete to create a flush look. Once the concrete dries, the installation is totally complete.

These drains collect the water and transport it to the sump pump where it is removed from the home. CleanSpace® was then applied to the walls for a clean finish and to help guide the water intrusion to the drain lines. The drains then direct all the water to the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump.
