Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

These homeowners in Hermantown, MN reached out to DBS for help keeping their leaky basement dry. The homeowner uses the basement as a woodshop and was tired of seeing water on the floors of his workspace. 

DBS Design Specialist, Rich Johnsen went to the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the work. After inspecting the home, Rich created a custom solution using our WaterGuard® french drainage system and a new TripleSafe™ sump pump. Foreman Joe Harris worked hard to install the waterproofing system. 

This basement is now healthy, safe, and comfortable! The waterproofing system was installed with a nationally-backed warranty so the homeowner will never have to worry about water issues again. 

A homeowner in Duluth, MN was having ongoing issues with water making its way into their basement area. The homeowner needed extra storage space and was unable to use their basement due to water and mold getting in the basement. 

Mold growth and water damage are common occurrences as a result of basement flooding. In need of a solution, the owner reached out to DBS for a free, no-obligation estimate. After a visit from our Design Specialist, Royce Bunn, it was determined that the basement would need to have a full waterproofing system put in place. This consisted of Foreman, Zach Jorenby, installing CleanSpace® and WaterGuard® to offer a permanent solution to the problem. 

The homeowner can now use this basement for storage without worrying about water damage to their belongings. 

This basement in Duluth, MN was experiencing water damage and heavy moisture when the homeowner reached out to DBS.

Our Design Specialist, Rich Johnsen, quickly came to evaluate the situation. He concluded that the basement would need our WaterGuard® System and a TripleSafe™ Sump Pump to ensure a dry and moisture-free area. With a plan set, Foreman, Zach Royer, and his production team came to the home and got to work on the project.

After installation of the WaterGuard® System on the walls and TripleSafe™ Sump Pump, this homeowner now enjoys a clean, dry basement.

This Hermantown homeowner reached out to DBS when their basement began to cave in and leak water.

Our Design Specialist, Henrik Makitalo, quickly came to evaluate the damage and create a plan of action. After seeing the foundational damage it was determined Geo-Lock Wall Anchors will need to be installed before waterproofing can take place. Five Geo-Lock® Wall Anchors were installed by Foreman Zach Royer and his production team to stabilize the walls before our WaterGuard® system and a SaniDry™ Sedona Sump Pump were installed in the basement. 

The homeowner now enjoys a stable, safe and dry basement all year round!

The basement of this Hermantown, MN was damaged when water seeped into their basement. The home had an existing drain and sump pump, but it was proving insufficient waterproofing system. In search of a permanent solution, they reached out to DBS.

A DBS foreman and crew installed a new french drain system and CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier along the perimeter of the basement. This system directs all the moisture to the home's existing sump pump.

The installation was successful and provided a solid solution to the leaking water.
