This homeowner in Taylors Falls, MN wanted to restore the workspace in their garage. Settlement and changes in the seasons lead the concrete slab to crack in several places.
Henrik Makitalo was the Design Specialist for this project and visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate for the concrete repair project. He designed a plan that would raise the sinking slab but keep the grade slanted slightly towards the garage doors for ease of cleaning.
DBS Concrete Repair Foreman Dustin Behning and his crew used PolyLevel® to raise the sinking slab. PolyLevel® is made with a specially engineered 2-part compound foam that expands when applied and hardens when dry. To take care of the cracks, our team used NexusPro™ to fill and completely seal them.
Homeowners in Columbia Heights, MN wanted to restore their back patio. Over time, soil washout caused their slab to settle and crack. Looking for a permanent solution, they contacted DBS for a free, no-obligation estimate on our PolyLevel service.
Concrete Repair Production Manager Steve Lafontaine visited the home to measure movement on the slab and design a custom solution. DBS Foreman Elisha Schlipp and her team installed expanding PolyLevel beneath the home's driveway, sidewalk, and patio. This polyurethane foam is injected beneath the slab via a pea-sized hole in the concrete. Expanding upon application, it raises the slab back to level and hardens as it cures. From there, they filled the concrete cracks with NexusPro®.
After a successful project to lift and level the slab, the homeowners can now make better use of their outdoor spaces.
Homeowners in Saint Paul, MN were concerned over their sinking garage foundation. The garage. The gap between the garage apron and the entrance to the garage was uneven and cracked. Foreman Elisha Schlipp and her concrete repair crew completed the work. They drilled small holes and injected PolyLevel® to fill the voids beneath the slab. PolyLevel® expands upon contact with the soil and is able to raise the slab back to its original position. From there, our team carefully filled the cracks with NexusPro®, a silicone-based joint sealant.
This family is now able to comfortably pull vehicles in and out of the garage with ease!
