Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This homeowner in Grand Rapids, MN was looking to encapsulate their home's crawl space to improve its health and create usable storage space. They reached out to DBS for a professional and permanent solution.

Design Specialist Rich Johnsen went to the home in order to complete a free, no-obligation estimate. After a careful inspection, Rich recommended our Crawl Space Encapsulation Services.

Foreman Nicholas Woods led the installation of this project. First, SprayFoam insulation was used to air seal and insulate the space. Then CleanSpace® Moisture Barrier was used to keep the space dry and create a clean finish for storage.

A homeowner in Sturgeon Lake, MN reached out to DBS regarding the crawl space of their home. The area was old and dirty, and also prone to moisture. This was concerning for the owner, as it can cause damage and raise health issues. They had a Design Specialist come out and provide a free, no-obligation estimate for the waterproofing service. It was determined that the crawl space would need to have CleanSpace® installed to act as a vapor barrier for the area. As you will see in the photo, the crew did a great job ensuring full encapsulation of the crawl space to prevent any further moisture issues. 

The owner of this cabin in Sturgeon Lake, MN was experiencing issues with moisture in their crawl space. This can cause unsafe living conditions because it promotes mold grows and negatively affects the air in the home. The cabin owner reached out to DBS after seeing an ad for DBS on a local television station.

Design Specialist Austin Burley went to the cabin to conduct a free no-obligation estimate and after a thorough inspection, he educated the owners on Crawl Space Encapsulation services offered by DBS. 

Foreman Tyler Nacey led the installation of this project with help from a crew. Together they first installed dimpled drainage matting to help water flow underneath the encapsulation products. Next, they covered the matting with panels of TerraBlock™ crawl space encapsulation to prevent frost build-up. Then they sealed the crawl space by installing a CleanSpace® water vapor barrier.

Now that the crawl space has been properly encapsulated, the air will be safer to breathe, and the cabin will remain in the family for years to come.
