Foreman Taylor Allen and his production crew installed a CleanSpace® vapor barrier on top of foam insulation over the dirt crawl space floor. Our ultra-dense TerraBlock™ foam insulation, as well as closed-cell spray foam, were applied to fully seal and regulate temperature in the space. These products work together to keep, cold air, moisture, and pests at bay.

The homeowner was happy with the work done, and now has a solid solution to protect their cabin against low winter time temperatures.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed drainage matting on the ground of the crawl space to help with water flow beneath the other layers. Next, the crew installed TerraBlock® insulation panels to protect the space against frost and also installed a layer of CleanSpace® water vapor barrier to finish the project. Polyurethane spray foam was also installed on the vertical walls of the crawl space to provide more insulation.

Now that the crawl space has been encapsulated with our 3-layer process, the homeowner can relax much more comfortably in their home.
