This homeowner signed up to fix their bowing wall, but before we could get there the wall caved in, in the middle of the night. This project started after the wall caved in. Two of our guys, Tysen and Royce went to the shop and collected material to support the house and close the basement off. We had sold the project before hand, so we then demo'ed the collapsed wall and started the rebuild. After Tikka Masonry replaced the cement blocks, we installed waterproofing, drain tile, and foam insulation. StableFill was then installed by us as an engineered fix to alleviate future earth pressure caused by the slope. 

This Duluth, MN homeowner noticed that their basement wall was beginning to bow outward. Concerned with the foundation, they called DBS to come out and give a free estimate for foundation wall repair. Upon the inspection, Design Specialist, Henrik Makitalo, was able to diagnose and find a solution for their bowing wall. Cracks had occurred in the walls of this foundation, and over time they grew large enough that water was able to seep through and promote mold growth. Concerned about the wall caving in as well as the health and safety of their home, after being referred by a friend, the homeowner reached out to DBS in hopes of finding a permanent solution.
