After a thorough inspection, our Design Specialist provided the homeowner with a free no-obligation estimate for our Basement Waterproofing System. One of our crews installed a new sump pump and our WaterGuard® french drain system to thoroughly waterproof the space and provide the homeowner with peace of mind!

Design Specialist Henrik Makitalo went out to the property to conduct a free no-obligation estimate. After completing a thorough inspection, Henrik advised the homeowner that DBS would be able to solve the issue by installing a waterproofing solution called WaterGuard® which is designed to capture water seepage through walls and leaks along the wall and floor joint and guide the water through a drainage pipe directly to your sump pump.

Foreman Jordan Jeseritz led his crew in the installation of this waterproofing project. Together they successfully installed the WaterGuard® drain system and an additional sump pump called SmartSump™ that is exclusive to DBS. The addition of the SmartSump™ will assist the old sump pump in draining water from the basement.

The home has been waterproofed and the leaky basement will have no issues keeping dry. Now the homeowner can finally relax comfortably knowing that their basement is promoting a healthy environment for their home.

Design Specialist Austin Burley conducted a free no-obligation estimate for the owners. After a thorough inspection, Austin recommended that the owners consider installing insulation products offered by DBS to promote a healthier space.

Foreman Nick Woods II led the installation of this project with help from a team. Together they stripped the attic of the old fiber-glass batting insulation that had crumbled from water damage over the years. After removing all of the old insulation, they sealed all of the air leaks in the attic with a waterproof polyurethane spray foam. Then 17 inches of Tru-Soft™ cellulose insulation was blown into the attic. Cellulose insulation is a more energy-efficient alternative to fiber-glass insulation. It is made from recycled material treated with a borate solution to repel pests and acts as a fire-retardant.

Now that the home has been properly insulated, the owners will experience a warmer climate in their living spaces. Proper insulation helps retain heat in the right areas of your home and will decrease energy bills without having to replace any doors or windows!
