The owner of this home in Balsam Lake, WI reached out to DBS looking for a solution to keep water from ruining their basement.

A DBS Design Specialist went out to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. Together they installed a WaterGuard® french drain system beneath the slab around the edges of the basement. The WaterGuard® System works by directing the water into the sump pump so that the water can be expelled up and away from the foundation. To finish the project, the crew wrapped the walls in a layer of CleanSpace® water vapor barrier.

Now that the basement has been properly waterproofed, the homeowner can relax with peace of mind.

A homeowner in Grand Rapids, MN reached out to DBS regarding their home's crawl space and various areas within the basement. The crawl space was the source of some damp water issues, creating a cold and uncomfortable environment. In need of a solution, a Design Specialist from DBS visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the service. It was decided that our crew would fully encapsulate the area using CleanSpace® as well as install a TripleSafe™ sump pump to extract unwanted water. To finish it off, the crew added SilverGlo™ insulation panels on the crawl space walls to create a warmer environment. The results turned out great and can be seen in the photos attached.

Design Specialist Rich Johnsen visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate. The best solution was for CleanSpace® to cover the area and install a new TripleSafe™ Sump Pump. Foreman Kevin Steffey and his production crew installed the Sump Pump and CleanSpace® in the basement. 

This family now enjoys a dry, safe and clean basement.

A DBS Design Specialist did a thorough inspection of the home and presented a solution for the foundation issues. It was determined that a CarbonArmor® Wall Reinforcing System, would be installed to support the sliding foundation blocks, as well as PowerBrace™ support beams. 

The DBS Foreman and production crew installed 8 PowerBrace™ beams in total and 4 CarbonArmor® wall straps. 

The homeowners were happy with the work done and now have a solid and supported home going forward!

Homeowners in Grand Rapids, MN worked with DBS to correct their home's failing foundation. After that work was complete, they also decided to take steps to seal and support their crawl space with our Dr. Energy Saver services.

Sales Manager Royce Bunn was the Design Specialist on this project. After inspecting the damp crawl space, Royce recommended installing CleanSpace® vapor barrier over drainage matting, as well as a SmartSump™ to direct any water away from the space. 

The DBS Foreman and his production crew installed these products as well as 6 SmartJack® System beams to lift and support the crawl space. The installation was finished with TerraBlock™ insulation to prevent cold, damp air from entering the space. 

This home is now fully supported and will be healthy, safe, and comfortable for years to come.
