DBS Before & After Photos

 Design Specialist Austin Burley went to the property to conduct a free no-obligation estimate. After a thorough inspection, Austin educated the owners on why their home was so energy-inefficient. Their attic was not sealed off properly underneath the insulation, allowing air to flow freely from living spaces into the attic.

Foreman Raeshawn Pelfrey led the installation of this project. With assistance from a crew, they removed all of the old insulation in the attic. Next, they applied spray foam over the floorboards to air-seal the space and blew in 17 inches of Tru-Soft™ cellulose insulation. Cellulose insulation will help insulate the home much better than traditional fiberglass batting.

Now that the attic has been properly insulated, the homeowners will notice that their home stays cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter without sacrificing money for high energy bills.

Foreman Trevor Ingle led the installation on the project with help from a crew. Together they drilled 4 helical piers into the soil beneath the addition to permanently stabilize its foundation. Piers are installed underneath a foundation to provide substantial support to a structure by pushing against bedrock deep below the surface.

Now that the kitchen has been permanently stabilized, the homeowners can think confidently about selling their home in the near future.

Foreman Trevor Ingle led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed 3 GeoLock™ Wall Anchors and 4 PowerBrace™ I-beams. Both systems will help straighten the walls over time by tightening the bolt on the GeoLock™ plate and bracket near the rim joist on the PowerBrace™ I-beams.

Now that the home has been permanently stabilized, the homeowners will not need to worry about finding additional solutions and can relax comfortably in their safe home.
