Foreman Glen Olcott led the installation of this project with help from a team. The team placed the drain lines within trenches along the perimeter of the basement walls. These drains collect the water and transport it to the sump pump where it is removed from the home. CleanSpace® was then applied to the walls for a clean finish and to help guide the water intrusion to the drain lines.

This homeowner in Hibbing, MN noticed water in their basement that was entering through the foundation on the floor.

They called DBS to come out and give them a free, no-obligation estimate to fix the problem. System Design Specialist Rich Johnsen was able to diagnose the problem and give solutions to fix it. His solution was to install a WaterGuard® system around the perimeter of the basement and to cover the walls with CleanSpace® Wall Poly. Foreman Zach Royer and his crew installed the WaterGuard system along the basement's perimeter walls. 

This now allows the water to drain properly into the new TripleSafe™ Sump Pump system every time.

The homeowner of this home purchased the property a few years ago and unfortunately, the basement began leaking in the area that had been finished. Frustrated with stains that had appeared in the basement carpeting from water damage, they reached out to DBS in hopes of finding a solution.

Carpenter Brandon Wollin installed the project with his team and together they installed a WaterGuard® drainage system to help divert to the TripleSafe™ sump pump they also had installed. In addition to the new draining system and sump pump, they also installed CleanSpace®, a waterproof poly material that is applied over walls. CleanSpace® will assist in directing water behind the material down into WaterGuard® drains, and the drains will carry water to the TripleSafe™ sump pump to be expelled out and away from the home through an exterior discharge line.

After completing the project, the home has been effectively waterproofed, and the homeowner can now relax comfortably in their home knowing that their home is safe and dry.
