Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

Facing freezing pipes and an uncomfortable sunroom in Duluth, MN, a homeowner contacted us at DBS for help. In the "before" photo, you can see the exposed, vulnerable crawl space that contributed to their discomfort. After installing our CleanSpace® TerraBlock™ bottom crawl space insulation, as shown in the "after" photo, we've transformed the area into a clean, well-protected space. This significant upgrade not only creates a more comfortable living area above, but it also ensures the pipes stay unfrozen year-round.

A homeowner in Duluth, MN reached out to DBS regarding water leakage that was occuring in the basement of their home. Watermarks were present throughout the area, and the leaks were causing damage to certains parts of the foundation and flooring. Fortunately, DBS was able to send out a crew to complete a multi-step waterproofing project on the basement, which consisted of installing CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier, a SaniDry™ Sedona Deumidifer, and a SuperPump® Premier Pump System. As a result, the homeowner can now enjoy a more clean and dry environment. 

We insulated the walls of this Duluth, MN crawl space using our SilverGlo® rigid board insulation. You can see the original walls lacked air sealing and insulation, which needed immediate fixing. Just as a precautionary measure, we also added drainage matting to the floor should any water enter the crawl space. This matting will direct water to and through your drain pipes.
